Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The project Samverket shows great potential for authorities to collaborate around complex problems. It is clear that it will take time to find effective forms of complex problem solving as many competencies, functions and organizations need to synchronize their work in time, resources and tasks. "Samverket 2.0" should be internally distributed into public collaborative spaces, where resources in fixed office locations are transformed and allocated towards flexible network-based workplaces, combined with co-working services, and support for practical complex problem solving

Expected results and effects:

Samverket is a very important function to continue to develop as the concept invites agile, iterative testing of working methods and methodology for complex problem solving demanding strengthened public interaction. A "Samverket 2.0" should, based on Region JH’s´ mission, take a much stronger focus on the development of working methods and a distribution of cooperation between authorities located in all eight municipalities in our county.

The logic will then follow the projects vision for Samverket with authority hubs in all counties, which can eventually become scalable Approach and implementation:

The aim of Samverket has been to meet for complex problem solving across authority boundaries. The concept is based on theories of the "third place", with a open space designed for creativity, dialogue and co-creation, and theories about "thin bonds", i.e. improved possibilities for problem solving in heterogeneous environments. The region has developed general knowledge about hybridwork and co-working linked to strengthened mobilization for the green transition and our climate strategy, with e.g. the goal of achieving a 10 percent reduction in carbon dioxide annually until 2030.
