ORM Public authorities role in mobility-SoS

ORM is an extension of the project Patterns for architecture and business models for urban mobility-system-of-systems (MAUS which will complement MAUS by studying the innovation aspect Policy and regulations in more detail.

The goal of the complementation project was to identify how the results from MAUS can contribute to a move closer to system innovation. Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** ORM has * shown that there are no specific policy obstacles for SoS solutions in particular * produced a proposal for a method/process for how municipalities can work with policies in the area of mobility

* made an inventory of policies that are relevant to mobility solutions and developed a checklist of questions that municipalities can use when planning mobility in new areas

* made a SoS modeling of an imagined future mobility solution in a new city district. The modeling shows that local mobility solutions can be included in the future mobility SoS Approach and implementation: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The project has studied policies and regulations within today´s and future mobility, as well as what role the public can have (at different levels) when it comes to the introduction of system-of-system (SoS) mobility.

The work has been carried out through literature studies, interview studies, workshops, modeling and a case study in the form of the emerging district Vårvik in Trollhättan.
