Swedish Mining Innovation SME- network

Purpose and goal:

Create a SME network in the mining and metal producing industry that effectively supports and takes advantage of new business opportunities at innovative small and medium-sized supplier companies in Sweden and also for the benefit of the industry´s other actors.

The main focus of the network will be to help accelerate innovation power, create more business and increase the competitiveness of SMEs, which benefits the industry as a whole. SME network is expected to complement and strengthen current structures operating within the Swedish mining cluster. Expected results and effects:

Contributes to increasing SMEs´ understanding and knowledge of the industry´s prioritized needs and challenges Contributes to more efficient and inclusive collaborations between SMEs and the rest of the industry

SMEs can to a greater extent develop and deliver solutions and value offerings in the form of services / products / functions as met needs and challenges

SMEs meet the industry´s eligibility requirements for delivery capacity by enabling collaboration around product development, service offerings and market introduction Approach and implementation: WP1 Projekt coordination - project management - action plan, planning, resource security - ongoing management, initiation of activities and follow-up/ reporting

- Forma network: structure, organization, target groups, value proposition, strategic plan and business development initiatives - Events, study visits, workshops, webinars - Create effective meeting forums, identify / communicate needs / challenges - Contribute to the development of SME services / products, value propositions and delivery capacity
