Purpose and goal:
The objective with this project is to validate och solidify a scientific foundation, including a publication, for a technology which has the potential to present and record an ECG - free of noise and artifacts with near perfect data quality. Expected results and effects:
Within the framework of this project, we expect to be able to present data that prove that Piotrode´s completely new electrode design and signal management is applicable in clinical use. This will be done through a study of 20 healthy subjects with associated publication in the relevant medical journal.
Approach and implementation:
The project is implemented in 3 work packages with an initial step of design and testing of different electrode variants and perform tests on these to validate functionality. In step 2, we intend to define a method for isolating and subtracting all disturbances and build a first variant on how this should be shown to the user. In the last step, we will perform tests on healthy subjects and prepare a publication based on the results of these tests.
