Remote monitoring in Rheumatoid arthritis

The goal is a co-created an e-health solution for remote monitoring of rheumatoid arthritis. The product aims to be attractive to users, both patients and caregivers. With the project, we also intend to increase the competence regarding procurement and implementation of e-health solutions within Region Örebro County, experiences we share with others in the public sector.

Finally, our goal is to contribute to evidence in the e-health area, with an example of how this can be done during the product development fase. Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

At the end of the project, a researched, procurable e-health solution is provided, containing not only a distance monitoring solution but also containing self-care support and enabling data to be shared with quality registers.

The use of e- health in rheumatology is in its infancy, and there is great potential in unleashing people´s own ability to monitor disease activity. When this is realized, good quality care can be provided with a lower staff resource than with traditional care, and potentially the use of medicines can be made more efficient.

Approach and implementation: The project will work in several tracks; -The organizational track, where integration with existing IT, procurement and law fit.

-The clinical track, in two steps, the first exploration in a spirit of service design and then a real life test with test users. -Conducting an observational study based on the first two tracks. -Business development through analysis of the value the product adds and how the market wishes to have access to it.
