Grant Description
Purpose and goal:
The purpose was to give exposure in a public forum to innovative SMEs and award two companies with funding to develop their ideas/products. The idea competition was held at Euromine Expo to attract large companies to attend in person. The top 8 applications were selected to pitch. Expected results and effects:
The two winners, Flasheye and RadChat were selected by the jury after the Euromine Expo pitch event. Each were awarded 600k SEK to continue to develop their ideas/products. Approach and implementation:
The Idea competition for SMEs was successfully held at Euromine Expo. The Jury consisted of individuals from industry, Vinnova and Swedish Mining Innovation. Follow-up meetings were held with those that did not win, to offer advice on dialogue on how their ideas could be supported through other instruments.
