Result Center 4.0

Purpose and goal:

Kunskapsförmedlingen is a meeting place for Swedish research in product and production development, to make research results more accessible to industry, and to strengthen cooperation between universities, institutes and industry. The project goals were (1) to improve the user experience on the website with the help of clearer structure and (2) to guarantee information and operational security for the website.

The project involved specification, programming, testing and implementation of a new design and technology solution. Expected results and effects:

With the new server solution and the improved interface, Kunskapsförmedlingen has been made more stable, which secures future operations. Approach and implementation:

The goal of Kunskapsförmedlingen is to spread results of research projects in product development to industry as well as strengthen the cooperation between university, institute, and business. Activities in the project were to specify, program, test and implement design and technology solutions. The knowledge transfer´s management team has formed a steering group.

As the development of version 4.0 has involved a new server solution and improved user interface, the opportunity to fulfill the overall purpose of Kunskapsförmedlingen has been strengthened
