Platform for internationalization SV-SE Mobility

Purpose and goal:

Purpose: Neutral coordinator for collaboration and knowledge sharing between SV/USA and Sweden to accelerate development within sustainable mobility. E.g: enable Swedish organizations´ activities in the US, or US organizations´ activities in Sweden.

Objective: Initiate and facilitate concrete collaboration initiatives. Establish network with focus on collaboration around sustainable mobility. Analyze organizations´ needs, way of workings and resources. Visualize Swedish innovation, knowledge and projects in the US. Expected results and effects:

The platform will be stakeholder driven with an exploratory approach. Expected effects are that the stakeholders´ activity and project needs with set the direction. Both large and small actors benefit from international collaboration in the search for the best solutions to a sustainable mobility system.

Thus, the platform is expected to spread knowledge about and accelerate several of LSP´s and Sweden´s mobility initiatives. Actors are expected from Sweden, EU and the US. The platform is expected to generate a long-term knowledge and business strategy base for the network. Approach and implementation:

Team members will be located in Silicon Valley and in Sweden from, and including, fall 2022. In the initial phase, spring 2022, the work will take place from Sweden, with travels to the US upon need.

Example activities: follow the knowledge development in the US, identify strategically important actors, create strategies based on societal and industry needs, facilitate collaboration activities, analyze stakeholders´ strengths and weaknesses based on the innovation ecosystem, visualize Swedish innovation within sustainable mobility, identify funding opportunities.
