Purpose and goal:
The purpose and goal of the project was to write a proposal for the Horizon Europe call for proposals "HORIZON-HLTH-2022-STAYHLTH-01-two-stage Staying healthy - Prevention of obesity throughout the life course". The funds constitute resources to tackle the task of starting a societal transformation in the direction of prevention, with the example of prevention of childhood obesity. Proposal, in two steps, has been written and submitted to Horizon Europe.
Expected results and effects:
Results of the project are that a stage 1 and, after it was selected to proceed, a stage 2 proposal were written and submitted. A decision on stage 2 proposal is expected to come in December 2022. If the Commission grants the project funds, the proposal will be able to be implemented in a powerful, systematic and data-driven way and build knowledge about how system transformation in the direction of prevention with the example of prevention of childhood obesity can be done.
Approach and implementation:
The work within the project was to write the proposal. The coordinator formulated the first version of proposal. The content of the proposal was then developed through iterations with the parties through digital meetings and an important on-site meeting (step 2).
At the meetings, views were presented, which the coordinator compiled and a revised version was sent out. This co-creative way of working spurred creativity in most parties, something that the coordinator was able to capture not least because of the resource that the Swelife/Vinnova grant provided.
