Tillväxtanalys tests Samverket

Purpose and goal:

The project "testa Samverket" investigated and established new forms of cooperation for public actors. The collaboration became a physical place for many meetings and exchanges between colleagues. New collaborations and ideas were born here.

Because the forms of cooperation had not been defined in advance and the project´s content developed over time, it was difficult to predict the outcome. I Östersund has Samverket as a collaboration space functioned so well that the project became permanent. That in itself can be considered the highest goal achievement.

Internally, we now have new tools to work with for spreading experience and developing ideas. We will be able to use the facilitator network that has grown out of Samverket for our own future needs.

We now talk about and relate to employees at other authorities as "our colleagues" in a way that makes the distances smaller.

In many ways, we had difficulty predicting and preparing for what Samverket would entail. An extremely committed project group led the project participants into the basic structure, but it was up to the participating authorities to test and find the forms of cooperation that suited needs and conditions. The test period has been an experimental workshop and with that comes both failures and successes. It turned out that Samverket as an arena suited some employees better than others.
