VFT at Malmö University

Purpose and goal:

Funding for validation for growth will continue to strengthen the power of innovation at Malmö University. This, by providing advice and assessment, provides the opportunity to grant funds to verify an idea for utilization and a step in preparing cases for further development within the university´s holding company, Mau holding and / or incubators with which we collaborate at Malmö University.

Expected results and effects:

Vid Malmö University and at Malmö University innovation where the actual work will take place, we have since the start in 2019 seen an increased interest in utilizing their knowledge resources. However, we also see that further development work must take place, as we have also seen the effects of the pandemic to reach the target groups in an optimal way with new staff employed during the pandemic.

We have a case in the pipeline for investment in our holding company, which has received its basic financing from VFT funds. Approach and implementation: We will partly continue to work in the order we set up the work at the previous application period, which means: We will work with a structure that means that we have an internal assessor and

decision group for granting funding up to SEK 75,000.

Funds in addition, up to a possible maximum amount of SEK 300.00 0, will be assessed and decided by an external group with representatives from our local innovation system and our innovation advisers and head of department for Mau innovation The decision matter is preferred by the responsible innovation adviser.
