Verification for Growth 2022 - Lund University

Purpose and goal:

Achieve the general objectives covered by the VFT program, develop regional cooperation, develop the innovation process and prepare a program application for 2023. Expected results and effects:

Against the background of a lower allocated budget than expected, we strive for efficiency in our resource allocation. The goals for the development of regional cooperation (increased allocation to our partners in Innovation Office South and exchange of experience and competence development) remain, as do LU´s development of its innovation process and preparations for a new program application in 2023.

Approach and implementation:

The granted funds for VFT (SEK 4.6 million without co-financing) will be used in accordance with our regular process and as a subset of the offer (advice, network and financial support) that we offer idea creators originating from LU, HKR and BTH. The funds will be used for project that are in the verification phase, which are characterized by step-by-step verification of hypotheses.

These should be based on commercial, regulatory, legal and technical assumptions that are assumed to make the project successful. See also appendix to the approved proposal.
