Purpose and goal:
How can we help consumers make sustainable, "green" decisions - especially when it comes to financial decisions? This interdisciplinary project with participants from psychology, behavioral economics, cognitive science, design, technology development and financial actors (banks) examines whether sound can be used as a channel to support (nudge) sustainable financial decisions.
Expected results and effects:
The tools developed in this project can both increase understanding of how sustainable financial decisions can be supported and nudged, and be used to create more attractive experiences for bank customers. Approach and implementation:
In a series of studies, different forms of nudges (audio and visual nudges) will be implemented and compared with regard to acceptance and efficiency - both in controlled experiments and in field studies of actual bank customers.
