Consumer power, sustainable transition and gender equality within the markets through open banking.

Purpose and goal:

The project aim & objective are to develop our sustainability platform so that we can offer users the most powerful nudge to sustainable choices in life & validate our business model so that this nudge can be made in an economically sustainable way.

Gokind´s platform has been developed so that we can offer green allowance money for green choices. This development has made it possible for us to quickly adapt our business model, based on economic conditions, where we now can offer any employer to support their employees to make green choices (similar to a hyper-efficient wellness allowance).

Expected results and effects:

Through the technical & business progress achieved in step 2, we now have the opportunity as a sole actor to offer the market a new product & a completely new way for companies, SMEs/large, to contribute to an active and inclusive sustainability work, where all employees are supported and are rewarded for making green choices. Step 2 has given us new perspectives on our own activities.

From a classic B2C perspective to a new B2B perspective, where companies are involved in a structural change & finance their staff´s green choices. The new perspective is more flexible & has greater potential. Approach and implementation:

The project was carried out by expanding our team and allowing our various skills to contribute to the dialogue with both users (employees/consumers) & partners (companies). Our technical development has been done in-house. Great focus has/is now placed on sales and approaching companies to introduce them to our business model green allowance.

It has been a challenge to go from a B2C, with a lot of marketing, to B2B with frequent partners and sales dialogues. In this restructuring, we have secured new & relevant competence for our board of directors. We have also secured angel investment.
