The Connector 2022

Purpose and goal:

The Connector had three goals for 2022. These were to carry out: 1) Food and agtech field visits and matchmaking program in May 2022 2) Foodtech field visit and matchmaking program in Sept 2022 3) Industry 4.0 field visit and matchmaking program in Dec 2022. All three have been carried out, with in total 214 participants onsite & 157 carried out tailormade one to one meetings onsite.

Expected results and effects:

1st Goal was to realize Food and Agtech Part 1 in May. 70 participants, 51 meetings, 86% found commercial leads or partnerships,36% found potential R&D project idea, 30% intend to apply for governmental funds, if available

2nd Goal was to realize Foodtech Part 2 Sept 19-20. 90 participants, 65 meetings, 70% found commercial leads or partnerships, 60% found potential R&D project idea.

3rd Goal: Industry 4.0 Dec 5-8, 54 participants and 41 carried out meetings onsite.77% of all survey respondents found commercial leads or partnerships aside from R&D project ideas. Approach and implementation:

The field visit and matchmaking programs were carried out in close collaboration with local partners Israel Export Institute, Start Up Nation Central, Ramot, Yissum and Technion.
