Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

We expect the development of this project to take us closer to a proper general intelligence system with cognitive abilities, resulting in a biologically realistic implementation of AGI. Our goals include: - Developing our technology to achieve TRL7. - Achieving best-in-class performance on the ARC benchmark for general intelligence.

- Partnering with key stakeholders. - Planning commercialization and establishing a technological roadmap for continued scientific leadership. Expected results and effects:

Our unique research results make it possible to set the ambitious goal of developing a next-generation AI architecture with cognitive abilities, superseding current ML/DL algorithms. After this project, we expect the technology will be in a good position to pursue commercial applications. Approach and implementation:

The project merges expertise from academia and industry and is divided into six separate work packages.

WP1 will use new biological insights to develop a new computational model of brain circuitry mechanisms in visual perception. WP2 will focus on gaining a deeper understanding of how brain networks make predictions. WP3 technology evaluation. WP4 is set to identify prototypes and use cases for the technology. WP5 will focus on business development, and WP6 will assess ethical implications.
