Krinova Incubator

Purpose and goal:

Krinova´s incubator is aimed at young impact companies active in food. The target group faces structural challenges and the purpose of the program is to make available resources and competence that accelerate the companies´ path to market. The companies that are accepted and that make an exit from the incubator are expected to have the potential to significantly influence and speed up the transition towards a sustainable food system.

Krinova´s incubator is expected to be a national leader in the incubation of start-up food companies and a driver of the Swedish innovative power. Expected results and effects:

Krinova´s incubator is expected to contribute to the development of support for young impact companies in the food sector in a way that benefits the entire Swedish innovation support system. This is of great importance as the food sector is underdeveloped when it comes to, for example digitalisation. The companies that go through the program are expected to make an impression on the industry and deliver products and services that contribute in a measurable way to a transformation of the food system and thereby a sustainable transition.

Approach and implementation:

Krinovas Inkubator conducts incubation of young impact companies in food. This takes place with ongoing intake, personal coaching and access to development resources according to the business´s capabilities. The rate is attraction of 100 companies and incubation of 10 companies per year.

Krinova´s incubator intends to develop support for start-up food companies in order to continue to offer a leading environment. This means intensifying the work of tying resources and competence to the business and building structures where these come to the companies´ hands in an efficient way.
