The purpose is to create a meeting place for mainly Swedish and international researchers in the field of sustainable development and social responsibility. The conference will take place 15-16 September 2022 at Mid Sweden University in Östersund.
The conference is intended to be held in the form of a hybrid conference, due to the uncertainty that has existed in recent years regarding the spread of Covid-19.
Participation can take place on site at Mid Sweden University or via a link. The conference has existed for 10-years and has been held at universities around Europe. In previous years, the number of participants has varied between 100-150 people.
Our ambition is for the conference to attract a physical presence with researchers from higher education institutions in Sweden, as well as students from Mid Sweden University, but also researchers and students from other higher education institutions in Sweden. Established collaborations mean that we already have four different universities that will be offered this solution.
Continued work is being done to enable this to include more higher education institutions. The conference will also this year, as before, be documented in the form of a book by the international publisher Palgrave / Macmillan and a special journal on the theme of sustainable and responsibility economy.
A Swedish book will also be presented with results from the conference.
These publications will be completed 3/2023.Well-known researchers in the field are invited to the conference for 6 keynote presentations. All participants must submit summaries of their research. These summaries will be presented and discussed at the conference. A number are offered to participate in an upcoming book in English and in Swedish.
The conference will be linked to Agenda 2030, specifically the areas of Good Education, Sustainable Consumption and Production, and Decent Working Conditions and Economic Growth.
