Götheborg of Sweden Asia Expedition- Swedish innovations for a better future

Purpose and goal:

The purpose is to promote Swedish innovations and export by creating a network with participants from the stakeholders in Team Sweden, Swedish companies, both the established and growth companies and relevant stakeholders in India.

Increase awareness of the opportunities that exist for innovation and export promoting activities between Sweden and India.

The aim is to create new business opportunities for both SMEs and large companies through PR and communications and joint relationship building activities. Expected results and effects:

Establish contacts for SMEs, academia and other stakeholders that enables long-term innovation partnerships between Sweden and India, resulting in new business opportunities and increased trade.

Implementation of a seminar with 180 participants from growth companies with a need of internationalization and other export and innovation promoting actors. Increased awareness of Swedish innovation and its role in the transition to a sustainable future. New busniess opportunities within the Indo-Swedish innovation system.

Approach and implementation:

2022: Planning and implementation of joint activities and continuous communication work. Project management, coordination and implementation of the Innovation session June 8th together with other partners and stakeholders. Start-up planning for the stop over India.

2023: Coordination and planning of joint activities in India as well as coordination and production of PR and communications work for the cooperation. Project management and implementation of 2-3 network activities in India June / July 2023 together with other partners and local organizations.
