Sweden Brazil Innovation Initiative (SBII) 2022-23

Purpose and goal:

The project aims to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Sweden and Brazil. This through a broad constellation of partners consisting of important actors in Sweden that can contribute to further develop the program and activities of the strategic partnership. Where the goal is to create more joint research and innovation projects and collaborations between Brazil and Sweden.

Expected results and effects:

Create an increased understanding and interest in the potential of the bilateral cooperation, with increased exchange of knowledge and experience between different actors. With increased participation in calls and promotion activities, and more concrete collaborative projects being initiated as a result.

Approach and implementation:

The project consists of several different workflows / programs, all of which follow a predetermined annual action plan in terms of type and number of activities to be carried out. Where most programs will arrange some activity during the Swedish-Brazilian innovation weeks, carried out once a year. Ownership of the various programs is divided between the participating partners - CISB, RISE, Business Sweden, EEN, Ignite and IVL. This with support from Vinnova and OSI (led by the Innovation Councilor at the Embassy).
