Purpose and goal:
The purpose of SNABBSAM in this design phase was to prepare for the establishment of a system demonstrator. The goal was for Stockholm, Järfälla and Nacka to work together to develop a common vision for the electrification of the vehicle fleet in the region, address the critical issues that need to be solved and form the cooperation between actors that is needed.
The purpose of the SNABBSAM system demonstrator is a rapid electrification of the vehicle fleet in the Stockholm region, and contribute to the goal of an emission-free inner city in 2030. Expected results and effects:
Systemdemonstrator SNABBSAM will consist of a full-scale test with only electric vehicles in the old town and possibly parts of the inner city. This will both clarify challenges and make the positive effects of an emission-free inner city visible. The capacity needs to be built together in a regional perspective, which also includes actions outside the inner city, therefore the project also includes pilots in other districts in Stockholm, Nacka and Järfälla.
Approach and implementation:
Stockholm, Järfälla and Nacka jointly map the system by, examine current situation. Then a common mission was created. In order to identify challenges and see what each actor can contribute with, workshops were held with a large number of participants from a variety of actors, including members of the Electrification Pact.
The project then worked to identify challenges and compile a roadmap with a portfolio of initiatives that together drive towards the common mission of rapid electrification and an emission-free inner city in 2030.
