Preparation project before international application

The project goal was to develop the scientific and technical base of the project, as well as the business plan to enter the German market through an international proposal via Eurostar, deadline 15/9. After the decision that Germany will not be part of Eurostar- the call for proposals, the project refocused towards Finland. After many meetings and good discussions with many stakeholders in Finland, the parties jointly judged that time was too short to make a competitive proposal for Eurostar 15/9.

Brainsafe has received countless contacts for continued discussion regarding joint international project, we have gained increased knowledge of the markets and various project ideas for an international proposal. We have also received invaluable input regarding our business plan for Germany and Finland.

The plan was to present a project draft to possible partners and thereby get them interested in a joint project. The ambition was to connect a number of end customers, another SME and a research institute to the project. End customers and research institutes were relatively easy to get in touch with and interested in the project, it was more difficult to identify relevant SMEs.

The analysis is that concussion is a very interesting and current area for research and end customer, but SMF has not identified the area as interesting yet.
