Purpose and goal:
On 23 September 2022, a workshop was organized at SciLifeLab Campus Solna for representatives from Swedish universities and industry. These are now included as formal parties in the SciLifeLab PULSE consortium and will participate in the design of the final program and in the proposal to be sent to the EU´s MSCA COFUND-program in February 2023.
Expected results and effects:
Thanks to a well-executed workshop and the participants´ active participation, an updated program model has been developed, which is supported by the intended university partners, as well as several industrial partners. The project is thus progressing according to plan, and the expected effect is a competitive, national proposal for SciLifeLab PULSE, anchored both in the Swedish Life Science academy and industry. A decision on the proposal is expected to take place under Q2-Q3 in 2023.
Approach and implementation:
A workshop was organized for potential participants in a new, national postdoc programme in Life Science, SciLifeLab PULSE. During the workshop, the developed plan for the program was presented. The participants´ important views through group work and discussion have been used to update the program structure.
Through its great potential and guaranteed implementability, SciLifeLab PULSE is now supported by ten universities, and several industrial partners. Vinnova´s support, which made the workshop on-site and post-work possible, was of utmost importance for this result.
