Pilot study for establishing Samverket in the north of Sweden

The purpose and goal of the preliminary study was to investigate the needs and conditions for the establishment of collaboration hubs for the public sector in North and Västerbotten to stimulate the green transition. The report describes the conditions and needs of each locality and also gives recommendations for the next step.

Based on the interviews and workshops that we conducted during the preliminary study, we have presented in the report a number of recommendations that we see could be the next step in the process. Approach and implementation:

The preliminary study has been entirely based on a qualitative approach and is based on interviews and conversations both digitally and physically on site in the four locations included in the study: Umeå, Skellefteå, Luleå and Boden.

We identified representatives from the municipality, region, authorities, business, property owners/coworking operators in all locations. Physical meetings were scheduled for those who had the opportunity, in other cases digital meetings. In total, nearly 100 people have been included in the conversations and workshops that have been arranged.
