The purpose of the project was to digitize the verification process and expand the verification program to also include CSRD. Both parts have been achieved and there is an objective that the verification program should be ready by autumn 2024. The aim was also to start building relationships outside of Sweden in order to start establishing Centers of Excellence worldwide, which has been done.

VERIFY has its first office in Barcelona and has established a Center of Excellence for sustainable development together with partners. Expected results and effects: A) Digitalisera parts of the verification process to streamline/automate the verification process so

that it becomes scalable and applicable worldwide. We also want to be able to connect AI modules and therefore need a digital portal. B) Utöka the verification to also include programme for CSRD - because there will be a legal requirement for sustainability reporting which creates a need in the market for both verification by an accredited third party and

Eva Vati has acted as project manager, but has also been involved in drafting agreements and worked in the SIS technical committee with the self-declaration. Participating in this project have been Helena Wiktor and Sarah Daleke who have been involved in various pre-defined work packages. Together, the team has set eligibility requirements for the design of the digital portal.
