GREEN BUFFERS a new patented safety system that ensures that a train set remains on the track after an accident.

Purpose and goal:

Market Green Buffer´s passive safety system and get feedback from potential customers. The response has been very good, with comments/reactions in meetings; "Tsunami in the industry", "We have really tried", "You have thought of everything"

Sub-goal is also to market the innovation to the organizations that work with passive safety. We dialogue with the leaders in this and have been invited as a speaker in March 2024 in Berlin at a global conference on passive safety for train safety for trains Expected results and effects:

Several confidentiality agreements are signed with potential customers and we have received several requests. Dialogues are now underway to be able to close these deals in several European countries. However, Sweden is a significantly smaller train market. Approach and implementation:

More dialogue with end customers and train builders were needed to be done than planned in order to inform about the shortcomings that exist regarding the passive train safety. Further information about this is still needed.

But the industry leaders now have the information. Which leads to us being able to have dialogue with the major lead coupler suppliers in Europe and the USA.

Cooperation between different actors who have the same holistic view of train safety is the key to making the trains safer and more sustainable together. This applies to both new and existing trains.
