Automated Container Security for cloud applications

Purpose and goal:

In summary, the project has fulfilled the purpose and objective as expected, where the technical solution has been developed into an early beta version that is ready to be tested together with the first batch of customers who were involved during the course of the project. Market knowledge and clear customer profiles will help the company reach out further after a commercial version of the service is developed. The foundation will also help with the next capital-raising round.

Expected results and effects:

A better understanding of how the service is expected to work in order to be interesting for customers has been reached. Several technical learnings about how and where the service works and doesn´t work have been very rewarding in developing customer profiles that help us direct our efforts regarding future sales. The service has been verified in test environments with clear results on how much more locked down an application becomes when using our security profiles.

Approach and implementation:

The technical part of the project has gone according to plan and has been successful in improving the prototype towards a first commercial version. The pilot customer dialogue and verification has taken more time than initially expected. Longer lead times, somewhat too optimistic assumptions before the project and the prevailing macroeconomic situation have affected the willingness and interest of the contacted parties to participate with us.
