Riedia

Purpose and goal:

Riedia aimed to develop Arabic and Spanish AI translation models, create app versions in these languages, and conduct user tests with 200 users for each language. While we excelled in model creation and app development, our testing achieved full engagement with Spanish speakers but faced challenges in reaching the target number for Arabic speakers.

Expected results and effects:

We successfully launched Spanish and Arabic translation models and integrated them into our platforms, including apps and newsletters. The newsletter, particularly in Spanish, saw substantial growth in subscribers. However the app underperformed and didn’t meet our expectations, so we decided to discontinue it. This paves the way for a potential European expansion, emphasising newsletters as a primary communication tool.

Approach and implementation:

Riedia focused on a user-friendly design, tailored for each language. Our advanced AI ensured accurate translations, capturing both linguistic and cultural subtleties. Despite our technical successes, user feedback highlighted a preference for the newsletter format over the app, guiding our subsequent strategic decisions.
