Konvoj - Schedule optimization for the health care sector

Purpose and goal:

Konvoj is building a scheduling optimisation platform, tailor-made to meet the staffing challenges of the health and long-term care sectors, using advanced mathematical optimisation (a subfield of artificial intelligence). This project aimed to develop and validate our business, as well as verify customer value and willingness to pay, through a pilot study collaboration with customers.

Expected results and effects:

In this project, we have improved our product and business model. We have verified the willingness to pay for our platform, which is now ready to be used for live testing with pilot customers. The next step is to launch the product with such a pilot customer, evaluate and carry out the further development activities needed for a wider launch.

Approach and implementation:

The project plan was divided into 7 work packages, where each work package consists of a backlog with well-defined and well-formulated tasks. 6 of these work packages aimed to further develop our platform, one to develop our business plan. The starting point was to build one functionality at a time, in its entirety, so that we could iteratively test, evaluate and get feedback on the new functionality.
