Purpose and goal:
Of the 14 million women that give birth every year, 90% will have some kind of physical or/and psychological issue during the first year after childbirth.
This project is designed to test and validate our hypothesis that we can identify 50% more parents with postpartum depression (women/men) than the health care is able to provide today. Our next step is to extend our partnership with Hedda Hela Livet as well as other MVCs to further validate this on a bigger scale.
Expected results and effects:
We have an ongoing partnership with Hedda Hela Livet to validate our hypothesis that we can identify 50% more parents with postpartum depression (women/men) than the healthcare system can do today. Too short project time to evaluate, ongoing evaluation. - In the long term reduced burden on care - Too short project time to evaluate.
Approach and implementation:
1. Partnership with maternity care center, Hedda Hela Livet - goal fully met 2. Development to validate hypothesis - goal fully met. 3. Validate hypothesis - ongoing.
