To design sustainable societies, it is important to understand how we can integrate different target groups in the planning and development of society.
Municipality of Alvesta have identified challenges in residential segregation and residential attractiveness and needs to work further with social inclusion in the future community building. At the same time, we see large emissions from the building and construction sector.
The aim of this project is to meet these sustainability challenges through cross-sector and integrated collaborations. The project will explore and test methods of citizen dialogue in harmony with climate-neutral construction.
This by defining methods and gathering knowledge with the help of business intelligence, which includes, among other things, study trips. The municipality will involve residents in the development of a dialogue room and will invite residents to dialogues. Alvesta municipality is in an area with vast forest resources, which is beneficial for both recreation and well-being.
Regionally, there are several different business actors who are at the forefront of climate-neutral construction in, among other things, wood. Municipality of Alvesta and Allbohus AB are project partners, and the project will be supported by the academy.
Knowledge and the experiences from the project will create conditions for creating a better structure for working with community development in the whole municipality. The result will be scalable.
