Purpose and goal:
The project aims to increase students´ contact with working life during their education by conducting courses in the industry. The goal is to develop education plans for courses in computer technology, automation, and production technology where the learning takes place at a company in trainee form.
In the long run, the new education model may be offered as a regular study path for a number of education. Expected results and effects:
An increased connection to working life within higher education that has positive effects on several of the goals linked to Agenda 2030. An education model that increases cooperation between academia and industry. Approach and implementation: The project has three phases:
1. Development: tasks will be translated into course objectives. Company-specific assignment packages will be created and linked to the respective course elements and learning objectives
2. Implementation: the model is evaluated for at least two courses and at two universities and the students carry out the workplace-based learning at two companies.
3. Evaluation: continues throughout the project and is based on constantly evaluating efforts and processes, with the aim of being able to formalize a generic model that can be implemented in education.
