Purpose and goal:
The purpose and goal of the project was to develop a SAR sensor that can detect a protein biomarker and to establish relationships with partners for subsequent FoI project. Which has been fulfilled by designing, constructing and testing a SAR sensor that can detect proteins. Expected results and effects:
The study shows that TBI-related protein achieved expected results for the detection. The results suggest that it can be adapted to more proteins. The measurements reveal a couple of aspects that are important to continue exploring.
As expected, contact has been made with leading manufacturers in sensors and electronics manufacturing, they can support remaining difficulties in continued industrialization. The prototype has been developed to a higher technical level, a key for further development. Approach and implementation:
The layout of the project was carried out according to plan, participating project partners cooperated well with a high level of communication. All parts of the project were ultimately carried out with the necessary skills, if someone with lab skills had been added earlier, further aspects could have been explored. During the project, the possibilities around different manufacturers were investigated, which took somewhat longer than expected, but led to good results and the value of that provides good conditions for further development.
