The Swedish National Council of Adult Education has seen a need for better tools for systematic control work. AI can be a tool for this by enabling deep analysis and faster processing of large data sets. Within the project, the Swedish National Council of Adult Education has therefore worked towards being able to use AI as a tool in the review and follow-up of how the state grant for public education is used.

The project´s results show opportunities that can increase the Swedish National Council of Adult Education´s ability and capacity to work with follow-up and review of the activities. Using AI in the assessment work can mean that resources are freed up for more qualitative tasks in the work as a whole. From a societal perspective, the project means that societal resources will be used more effectively in the long term.

Some of the project´s success factors for planning and implementation that have been identified are that both management, programme manager and technical support organization have been involved. Above all, this has contributed to being able to make the necessary decisions for progress and to being able to carry out operational tests. The results show direct business benefits within the organization´s core processes.
