Travel grant 2022, MIRAI R&I week Japan 15-18/11

The purpose was to participate in MIRAI 2.0 and there in the role of senior researcher/professor guide junior researchers/doctoral students through a workshop and to help find new contacts and collaborations for Örebro University and our collaboration partners. In addition, meet companies etc. Thanks to the trip, we have ongoing discussions with e.g. Sophia University about possible project and seeking project funds together.

The project has been successful. I visited the Swedish embassy and spoke with, among others, Business Sweden, visited the large company Hitachi´s central development area which taught me what project they have in digitalisation, then the conference in Fukuoka and carried out the workshop etc. that I was there for and met many new contacts that can lead to new project and help junior researchers to contacts and new collaborations.
