A shift in protein - travel and staff costs

Purpose and goal:

The initiative has provided the space and opportunity for actors to, within the framework of the theme "The Protein shift", get to know and work together with other organizations and sectors. The effort has also given the participants a greater knowledge and competence in working methods for innovation and systems thinking. The effort has led to actors from the theme increasing their understanding of the system and taking the next step towards the

establishment of more long-term innovation platforms for the food systems. Expected results and effects:

The project has developed the ability and created conditions for actors within the theme "The Protein Shift" to get to know each other and work with a common

mission, address identified levers, challenges and idea generate and co-design potential solutions that exist in the system. This has given the participants a greater understanding and opportunity to participate in the proposal for a next phase; establishment of innovation platforms, that will start at the end of 2023.

Approach and implementation:

The project was structured in eight different learning modules with several theory blocks, workshops and individual or group work between fixed digital or physical meetings. The effort was facilitated by the design agency Antrop. The project was finalized with a physical and joint closing conference on the 24th of August 2023.
