South Node AI Sweden

Purpose and goal: The node´s work is strongly anchored in AI Swedens´s national objective and in the regional Smart Specialization areas. With a strong ecosystem, the node will create value through AI Swedens offerings. The node must also strengthen the national initiative by anchoring the regional

areas of strength in national strategic project and collaborations Expected results and effects:

The mission of AI Sweden is to accelerate the use of applied AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness and for everyone who lives in Sweden. The effects of the project can be described in 3 steps that will increase the degree of maturity of partners: 1.Understand - Organizations have understood the importance and possibility of using AI

2.Act - More organizations let their staff prioritize and work actively with data collection, analysis and AI use. 3.Implement - More organizations show the business and climate benefit after successfully completed projects project. Approach and implementation: Innovation Skåne will take over responsibility as host organization for the southern node from H2 2022.

In addition to establishing the new host, the southern node will need to work in parallel with all seven focus areas, Partner care & networks, AI Transformation, Strategic initiatives - applied AI, National City Lab & Data Factory, Communication, Talent Program and Internationella Relationer.
