NoBias 2.0. Design of a model and service for inclusive communication

Purpose and goal:

The overall objective is to design a digital service for inclusive communication in text and image with support of AI. There is a need for knowledge about norms and bias in communication and the aim is to increase the level of knowledge in business and organisations. The goal is to develop and ensure a service/a tool, in the form of a scalable service/module that can be implemented in other platforms/systems and for different contexts.

Objective is also to analyse for multiple bias, simplicity and relevance in real time, as well as robustness, credibility and trust in the service. Expected results and effects:

Knowledge of: inclusive communication, how text and image use can be more transparent and inclusive; on ethical digitalisation/technology usage; on UX/usability/digital accessibility, user experience that contributes to increased understanding of norms and bias; about the technologies in all stages from data collection to model dissemination, input reflects output and reflects society at large, knowledge of how norms and bias affect digitalisation; on the collection, processing and implementation of datasets based on norms and bias

Approach and implementation:

The project´s approach is a cross-disciplinary and practice-based, to create new knowledge and understanding in the field of inclusive digital communication. The implementation takes place in four work packages, Learn, Ideate, Build and Launch, with implementation in design sprints, a new way to implement development projects in a shorter time and safer results through co-creation, user tests and validations.
