Swedish Mining Innovation and Research Day 2023

- Enabling innovation for a sustainable future" was held as planned on May 9. There were 140 registered delegates. There were presentations and panel discussions and the Bergforsk prize for the best exam paper, licentiate and doctoral thesis. A number of SMI´s project and activities were also promoted with stands during the mingle sessions.

Innovation Day succeeded in disseminating information about SMI and SMI´s project, relevant FoI and included project that have led to implementation and positive impact, as well as expanding and strengthening the network for research and innovation. The conference was held as a one-day event with a dinner for speakers and those who traveled to Luleå the day before. Information about the conference was disseminated via SMI´s website, newsletter and social media.
