Purpose and goal:
The aim of the project has been to develop a flexibly usable building element structure based on synergistic effect by combining two sustainable innovations, which enable extremely light and strong building elements, e.g. for, shelves, doors, wall elements, furniture frames. The goal has been to develop/complete working prototypes of a combination of WoodTube joists (lightweight beam structure) and Greenwood (lightweight core).
This objective has been met to 100% regarding lightweight interior doors and lightweight tables, as well as to a certain extent wall elements. Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **
The results obtained in the project have met all expectations. In particular, it can be highlighted that strength and durability aspects in many respects exceeded high expectations. The effect of this ought to create great market interest and open up new opportunities for sustainable construction. Approach and implementation:
** Denna text är maskinöversatt **
Based on good availability of both frame elements (WoodTube) and core elements (Greenwood), through iterative prototyping and testing, a methodology for the production of working prototypes has been successively developed. We can state that the chosen implementation model worked very well.
