REACH - Incubator Program

Purpose and goal:

The objective of this project was to enhance comprehension of the process involved in transitioning from a research project concept to the initial stage of a start-up. This endeavor concentrated on the essential elements of establishing and operating a scalable business, with particular attention given to markets such as the USA.

Expected results and effects:

The main results came from focusing on networking and possible partnerships for pilots and collaborations, making the start-up more attractive to investors. Although it´s too early to be sure about opening a company unit in the USA, the REACH program taught us the importance of building relationships and working together when starting a business in the US market.

Approach and implementation:

The REACH program was structured to include two intensive weeks of online sessions, followed by two weeks of mentor-led workshops in Palo Alto, USA. This format enabled us to participate in all the workshops through an online setup, and with the help of additional internal funding, we were able to travel and attend the two-week in-person workshop sessions.
