Purpose and goal:
This feasibility study investigated the potential needs and values of establishing a national AI network node that strengthens collaboration between Sweden and Silicon Valley in applied AI. The feasability study recommends a method and process for spreading knowledge in cutting-edge areas within AI, act as a connecting function to create opportunities for cross-Atlantic project, and a process for individual meetings between actors.
The feasibility study investigates the interest in being a receiving party for individual mobility exchanges within applied AI in Swe and in SV. Expected results and effects:
By carrying out activities and interviewing relevant actors, the project investigated the interests and needs of transatlantic collaborations between Sweden and Silicon Valley in applicable AI and validated a methodology and process for implementation. This resulted in recommendations and a report that can serve as a basis for launching an AI network node between Sweden and Silicon Valley as a next step.
Approach and implementation:
The project plan was based on 5 goals and objectives and activities that would achieve the goals, to understand needs, investigate interest and create an understanding of what other efforts exist and how an AI network node can complement existing ongoing efforts to strengthen the collaboration between Sweden and Silicon Valley within applied AI. The feasability study created a proposal for a method and process that can in a next step be the basis for a future AI network node.
