International researchers, politicians and business leaders met at STS to discuss issues in science and its relationship to society. The goal was to learn about this relationship and to discover current synergies and future opportunities between science and technology at an international level. I learned more about the connection between science and technology in today´s world and met and networked with scientists and leaders from around the world.

Based on discussions at the forum, we developed proposals and ideas in science and its challenges in society in groups led by international researchers. The meeting with people with different experiences in different fields was crucial for future innovation in research, technology and thus society. My participation has led to many international contacts in science that I will be able to benefit from in future project.

Participated in the conference´s seminars and panel discussions as well as networking activities. My experience was positive in terms of the event fulfilling its aim.
