Pilot Train the Trainer Demand Acceleration

Purpose and goal:

The goal of the project was to develop and validate a train-the-trainer concept in collaboration with a group of intermediaries, aiming to create the conditions for disseminating the methodology by enhancing execution capacity. Simultaneously, a preliminary study was conducted, also aiming to scale up the methodology, but focused on the demand from stakeholders.

The anticipated outcome was that both the preliminary study project and the train-the-trainer pilot, collectively, would enable the economically sustainable dissemination of the demand acceleration methodology. Expected results and effects:

In addition to developing a new educational and knowledge-sharing concept,in line with the expected project results, the project also identified essential prerequisites for successful scaling. It´s crucial that the intermediaries´ organizational structures clearly define the boundaries between business support and procurement responsibilities. Moreover, structures that enable efficient long-term knowledge sharing are important.

Approach and implementation:

During the project, a theory on ecosystem development emerged, which greatly influenced the project´s implementation. When we applied this theory in practice, during the execution of the project, it led to insights that affected both project activities and future planning. These insights can be summarized under three themes - the role of the intermediary, conveying an approach rather than a method, and the balance between collaboration and competition within the ecosystem.
