Purpose and goal:

The purpose of the participation in Vinnovas Booster for EIC Plug-In was to get Retein ready to submit an EIC Accelerator application in 2023. An EIC Accelerator application was submitted for the November deadline. The support in the shape of general writing support, an Investment readiness process, as well as more application-specific support from EUSME´s writing consultants was extensively leveraged to strengthen the application.

Expected results and effects:

The expected effects and results of this work was to contribute in shaping a robust application for the EIC Accelerator, which would result in an application submission in 2023. A robust application to the EIC Accelerator was submitted in November 2023 as a results of the work performed within this EIC Accelerator booster.

Approach and implementation:

The plan for the project was to undergo an IRP Full process with the goal of generating material of significant importance for the application. Vinnova´s application writing support and the hiring of an external application consultant were intended to help Retein in the preparation of a robust EIC Accelerator application in 2023. The IRP process was conducted early and was very useful in shaping the application´s focus and plan from the capital perspective.

Writing workshops provided important strategic advice as did the writing consultants, who also provided structure in the process
