Purpose and goal:
Access Sweden aimed to create a movement for communities with sustainable accessibility (access) without a need for private cars. The project brought together 180 advisers from business, academia, public authorities and civil society. During the process it became clear that it is in the gap between the built environment and mobility that there is untapped potential.
A collaboration with the preparatory project "the Shift" led to a common mission to "transform Sweden, fossile free and resource conscious into a country that offers attractive ans accessible living spaces for all" Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **
The project has resulted in a proposal for an innovation program within Impact Innovation. If the program is granted, the conditions are created for three major shifts: 1) From mobility and community building that takes place in separate silos to an integrated ecosystem with a completely new innovative capacity, 2) From resource-intensive construction processes to new values through circular business models, and 3) from unsustainable transportation to a new freedom reform with competitive alternatives to individual car travel.
Approach and implementation: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **
The project has been carried out as an open and inclusive process. About 180 advisers from a wide range of organizations have been attached to the project. The advisors have participated in workshops and bilateral meetings where the mission and direction have gradually grown, developed and refined. A special method, the three horizon method, has been used to give structure to the work.
