Joint IoT strategy, principles and requirements for Region Skåne

Purpose and goal:

The purpose of this preparatory project was to initiate work on an overall IoT strategy and target architecture for Region Skåne´s responsibilities. The goals also included external analysis, strategic relationships, guiding principles and learning. These goals have been fulfilled and Region Skåne has initiated its strategic IoT development.

Expected results and effects:

Region Skåne has developed its capabilities to work strategically with IoT and establish regional solutions and standards. The infrastructure work has begun and external analysis and relationship building are underway in the IoT area. Approach and implementation:

The project has been divided into work packages with clearly stated responsibilities between the parties. The parties have met frequently for joint workshops and establishment of consensus around IoT strategic issues and target architecture.
