Strengthened incubation capability within the national incubator program 2023-24

Purpose and goal:

The aim and objective of this project is to further develop and spread knowledge through various sub-projects in order to thereby strengthen the incubation capability within both the current national incubator program and future programme. Expected results and effects:

The expected effects are that the project further develops the participants´ ability to conduct incubation activities through efforts that evaluate their activities and capture development potential, identifies share needs and spread best practice within them, build new knowledge and collect statistics for evaluation of the incubator program´s effects in the long term. Overall, this is expected to develop and provide a strengthened ability to run incubation activities within the national incubator program.

Approach and implementation:

The project is led by a project manager from SISP who, together with the steering group for the national incubator program, plans, implements and evaluates efforts such as peer reviews, prestudy for international peer review, dissemination of knowledge through recurring digital seminars (ERFA meetings) combined with physical network meetings. In addition, skills are developed through an introductory training for new business developers and annual collection of statistics for evaluation of the program´s long-term effects.
