Purpose and goal: The project showcases speculative design methodology and future artefacts in a bespoke pop-up intervention at the Bifrost Summit at the vinnova event at the Nordic Innovation house; it also activated and empowered participants in discussions around climate disruptions and the day-today
strategies and actions they can take in response today. We train futures literacy and share the process, research and outcomes with the project’s digital platform and in the workshop format at the event. Expected results and effects: At the Bifrost summit and installation of 12 bespoke street signs designed for California we
engaged with participants from the start up community and organisations around Palo Alto to work with focused interactions around ethical AI, energy and mobility topics. With Bifrost as one event of many, we evolved Signs of Change into a change management platform for organisations globally. The digital platform documented participants´ narratives and concerns, allowing these
diverse voices to inform possible future policies and organizational strategies. Approach and implementation: Signs of Change proved as an easy-to-understand communication and engagement for complex future outcomes for various audiences. Its modular exhibition proved suitable for indoor and outdoor pop-ups. It allowed for the production and set-up on two continents. The workshop toolkit
offered relevance and customizability to cater to various contexts with feedback loops into the digital platform. It generated social media traction and a wide range of actionable leads for scaling the project.
