Manufacturing R&D Cluster Conference 2023

Purpose and goal:

To create a well-attended meeting place for those who want to develop sustainable production, to disseminate results from FoI projects, and increase collaboration between industry and researchers in innovation around sustainability, production systems and manufacturing processes. Expected results and effects:

The main focus was to organize a physical meeting place. The conference was also this year entirely in English, so that the companies´ English-speaking staff at various sites can benefit from the results. This will increase the result dissemination which is one of the objectives of the conference. Lont term impact is meetingt the Circularity Gap that relates to Swedish manufacturing.

Approach and implementation:

Planning and execution of the Manufacturing R&D Cluster Conference held in Södertälje Science Park, May 9-10, 2023. The conference included key notes within the theme ´Circularity - Next manufacturing challenges´ combined with parallel sessions where industry-relevant project results were presented.
